Campers will get an up-close and personal look at the University of Maryland women's soccer team - which may be a glimpse of their future. THE CAMP PROGRAM/OBJECTIVE Jon Morgan's Terps Soccer Camp for Girls gives female soccer players the opportunity to work with women who have been successful throughout their careers at the local, regional, national, and international level. Our goal is to have each player improve her soccer skills, techniques, strategies, and tactics through individual training and challenging game competition. Emphasis will also be placed on developing a winning attitude, enjoying the sport and making new friends. Both Residential Camps offer training for goalkeepers by assistant coach Laurie George. Each morning and afternoon we train and teach players methods and strategies of goalkeeping. We coach the most important topics that are seen in the game including breakaways, crosses, highballs, tipping, distribution, shot stopping, angle play and more. Our current college keepers and former collegiate keepers help out with all sessions and each group has no more than 6-7 athletes per coach. SOCCER CAMP HIGHLIGHTS
